Owen Rauer said his interest in beer making came almost four years ago, when he had a beer which left him impressed.
He then decided to learn how to brew his own beer and spent three years learning the craft.
Dakota Joiner said the brewery is trying different beer styles and has already worked with others to produce some collaboration beers.
Evan Rauer added that a maple brown ale, a maple-infused beer using syrup from Maple Roch, is also in the plans.
In addition to its beers, the brewery also serves food including flatbread pizzas, paninis and snacks.
The Breakaway team members are hoping to attract a younger crowd to the community, including people travelling between 91大黄鸭 and Penticton.
