Nominations are now open for the 91大黄鸭 Chamber鈥檚 biggest celebration of local business, the 38th annual Business Excellence Awards: A Night of Champions.
The awards honour the people and organizations who help drive 91大黄鸭鈥檚 economy and enrich the community, from business owners and entrepreneurs to non-profits and arts groups. This year鈥檚 gala will be held on Oct. 30 at the Delta Grand.
Anyone can nominate a business or individual, whether it鈥檚 a customer, colleague or even themselves. The Chamber encourages applications from across the region, not just the city of 91大黄鸭. Nominations are open until Sept. 12, and applicants can apply for up to two of the 16 award categories. Finalists will be revealed at an event on Oct. 3.
鈥淭his is our favourite program each year,鈥� said Chamber President Derek Gratz. 鈥淭he awards shine a spotlight on the innovation, creativity, and hard work that define our local business community.鈥�
This year introduces a brand-new award, Top Sales Professional of the Year.
All applications go through a review process by an independent judging panel. Judges also visit each finalist鈥檚 place of business to help determine winners and runners-up.
The Business Leader of the Year is selected by the judges.
