This is the first year 91大黄鸭 has dedicated a whole month to Pride

Sunny conditions shined on hundreds of 91大黄鸭 residents for the 91大黄鸭 Pride March on Saturday, May 31.

For the first time ever, 91大黄鸭 is celebrating Pride for the whole month after it's been just a week-long celebration in the past.

After an opening event, 91大黄鸭's Next Drag Superstar finale took place at Red Bird Brewing on Friday night, the annual march and festival filled Stuart and City Park on Saturday.

Freida Whales & Kayla the Contortionist provided some pre-march entertainment before opening remarks from community leaders and activists took place, including a speech from newly elected 91大黄鸭 MP Stephen Fuhr.

Once speeches finished, the annual march started at Stuart Park and went along the waterfront, leading right into the festival at City Park.

At the festival, there was live music, drag performances, food trucks, artisan vendors, and family-friendly activities.

91大黄鸭 Pride Month, as recognized by the City of 91大黄鸭, is May 30-June 30.

Happy Pride Month 91大黄鸭! 馃寛馃挅 it was amazing seeing so many smiling faces at the parade today! Stay tuned for more love-filled events this month! @Advocacy Canada
