The dancing shoes are being shined up.
The North Okanagan Hospice Society presents its 2025 edition of Dancing with the Vernon Stars, taking place on Saturday, Oct. 18, at the Prestige Vernon Lodge and Conference Centre.
"This year promises to be our most dynamic and engaging yet 鈥� with new performances, added opportunities to support hospice care, and an unforgettable evening of entertainment," said hospice fund development and communication officer Kristin Ford.
In the lead-up to the gala, supporters can participate in:
鈥� Raffle Tickets 鈥� Available until Aug. 31, offering the chance to win two gala tickets and a luxury limousine ride, courtesy of Okanagan Limousine;
鈥� 50/50 Draw 鈥� Open now through gala night, with a potential jackpot of up to $25,000;
鈥� Event Tickets 鈥� On sale now, including a plated dinner, a welcome drink sponsored by Bracken Insurance Services Ltd. | Co-operators, and an evening of captivating entertainment.
Proceeds from these fundraising initiatives support the North Okanagan Hospice Society鈥檚 programs, including the Hospice at Home program, which delivers compassionate, dignified care directly to individuals in their homes.
For the first time, Dancing with the Vernon Stars will feature both couples and group performances, celebrating cultural diversity and the artistry of dance.
The latest couple to announce their participation are 2024 event returnees Vinil Sood and Mallika Satti. They join Team Boss Babez and Slay The Night as 2025 participants.
Alongside the stars, enjoy special performances from local community dancers.
Watch as artist Jordan Perkins creates a piece live on stage, to be auctioned at the end of the evening.
