There is a fresh face in the Okanagan鈥檚 arts and entertainment scene.

Theboxoffice.ca has launched with a mission to make buying and selling tickets easier, smarter, and more community-focused.

Whether it鈥檚 concerts, comedy, sports, or live theatre, theboxoffice.ca is designed to help discover events across a wide range of venues.

鈥淭heboxoffice.ca will help you easily find the best events, plan your next adventure and get your tickets all in one place,鈥 said Christine McWillis, cultural services manager, City of 91大黄鸭.

Originally operating within the 91大黄鸭 Community Theatre and Rotary Centre for the Arts, the platform has now expanded its reach. It鈥檚 supporting events at Elks Stadium, the Apple Bowl, and many other local venues. The goal is to help event producers grow their audiences through smarter marketing, streamlined event management, and a patron-first system.

One standout feature is its Netflix-style browsing experience. Based on your past purchases, the site recommends other shows and events you might like.

鈥淲e believe ticketing should be more than just a transaction,鈥 McWillis added. 鈥淚t should be a gateway to unforgettable experiences, backed by local knowledge, real marketing support, and a team that truly cares about the success of every event.鈥
