The first Live! in Lake Country of the summer drew in over 3,300 people to the delight of district staff.
鈥淲e kicked off the Live! in Lake Country summer season with Fleetwood Mac and ABBA tribute acts that pulled in the biggest audience we ever had!,鈥� said Cultural Development Coordinator Ryan Donn.
The free Friday night concert series offers a broad range of music for all ages.
The next concert on July 11 will feature The Heels and the Chris Buck Band. The concert starts at 7 p.m. at Swalwell Park.
The Lake Country Farmers and Crafters Market also runs on Fridays at Swalwell park. The market extends its operations until 8 p.m. for concert attendees to enjoy.
鈥淲e really appreciate the generosity of our returning title sponsor TD and the 2025 onsite event sponsors Stutters, Lake Country Chamber of Commerce as well as Christi and Kristen from the Stone Sisters. Without their generosity we wouldn鈥檛 be able to offer such high calibre concerts to the community free of charge,鈥� said Donn.
Live! in Lake Country runs every Friday until Aug. 15.
