Another thunderstorm warning for Okanagan

Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for the Okanagan and two interior highways.

Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for the Okanagan and two interior highways.

鈥淐onditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain,鈥 according to the Environment Canada website.

The warning is also in effect or the Okanagan Connector between 91大黄鸭 and Merritt, and the Coquihalla between Merritt and Kamloops. 

Tonight鈥檚 forecast calls for a risk of a thunderstorm, and a chance of showers Tuesday morning, and clearing in the afternoon. 

Residents are advised to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
