Lake Country firefighters pulled an abandoned capsized boat from Wood Lake on Thursday afternoon.
According to the District of Lake Country, a water quality technician received a report of a capsized boat with concerns of a fuel spill into the lake.
Fire crews launched their rescue boat to investigate.
On scene they discovered an 18' Canventure capsized boat by Cornwall Road and Pelmewash Parkway, however, no one was around the vessel.
The district confirmed there are no drinking water intakes in that area.
鈥淭he incident has been reported to Interior Health and District of Lake Country bylaw enforcement,鈥� read a statement from the district.
Anyone missing an aluminum boat is to contact the District of Lake Country.
