91大黄鸭 airport sees minimal impact after bomb threats across Canada

91大黄鸭 International Airport (YLW) was not extensively impacted by bomb threats that targeted several major Canadian airports on Thursday (July 3).

鈥淭he security incident had minimal impacts to regular operations at 91大黄鸭 International Airport (YLW) this morning,鈥 YLW said in a statement. 鈥淭ravellers are advised to check directly with their airline for the latest updates, as further delays are expected.鈥 

Nav Canada, the country鈥檚 air navigation service provider, received bomb threats targeting its facilities in Vancouver, Ottawa, Montreal, Edmonton, Winnipeg, and Calgary.

A temporary ground stop was implemented at the affected airports, and several locations were evacuated. There were no reports of anyone being injured, according to Nav Canada.

Some flights in and out of 91大黄鸭 are delayed, due to the threats at other Canadian airports. .

Nav Canada has not provided details, but is continuing to investigate the incidents.
