The 91大黄鸭 RCMP is looking for the owner of a large coin collection that was recovered from a traffic stop last October.
According to RCMP media relations officer Cpl. Allison Konsmo, the collection has "several collector鈥檚 coins from various years and various denominations, each distinct in nature."
The coins feature unique designs, historical figures, and cultural emblems that reflect the heritage of their respective countries.
According to Konsmo, all other avenues to locate the owner of the collection have been exhausted, and the RCMP is releasing a photo of a small part of the collection in the hope of generating a lead.
Proof of ownership is required before it can be released to the owner, and if you are the rightful owner, please contact the RCMP at the non-emergency line, 250-762-3300, referencing file number 2024-61013.
