Largest ever B.C. Liberal team gathers in 91大黄鸭 to hear concerns

'Important unique needs, priorities of British Columbians outside Lower Mainland are heard'

A record number of Liberal MPs are gathering in 91大黄鸭 to hear about the issues that matter most in the Interior.

From July 14鈥15, the Pacific Caucus 鈥 made up of 20 Liberal MP, including five federal ministers 鈥 will meet with local leaders, businesses, Indigenous representatives, and others to better understand the region鈥檚 challenges and priorities.

鈥淔rom affordability, housing, public safety, and economic diversification, to environment, and climate resilience, it is important that the unique needs and priorities of British Columbians outside of the Lower Mainland are heard and understood,鈥 said Stephen Fuhr, 91大黄鸭 MP, host of the event.

He added that the visit 鈥渨ill help shine a light on our region, the unique challenges and opportunities in the interior, and ensure we are building a stronger future for all British Columbians.鈥

MP for Vancouver-Granville MP, and Pacific Caucus chair, Taleeb Noormohamed, noted the importance of connecting directly with constituents.

鈥淏eing in 91大黄鸭 gives us the opportunity to hear directly from the people who are helping build Canada鈥檚 economy across a diverse range of sectors,鈥 he said. 

He added that British Columbians can count on the province鈥檚 Liberal MPs to 鈥渄eliver for them as part of Mark Carney鈥檚 government."
