The death of a 57-year-old woman is being treated as suspicious after West 91大黄鸭 RCMP discovered her body inside a home while attending a wellness check. 

West 91大黄鸭 RCMP were called to a residence off Highway 97 on May 3, to check in on the well-being of an individual. 

According to S/Sgt. Jason Smart of the Southeast District Major Crime Unit, officers discovered a deceased woman upon entering the home. 

The woman is being identified as 57-year-old Cindy Walsh.

Following the discovery of the victim, the Southeast District Major Crime Unit (SED MCU) assumed conduct of the investigation.

鈥淲e鈥檙e asking anyone who knew Cindy Walsh or may have seen her during the month of April to contact the Southeast District Major Crime Unit,鈥� said S/Sgt. Smart. 鈥淓ven something seemingly minor could assist investigators in determining what led to her death.鈥�

Police have released a photograph of the victim to help identify any witnesses who may have seen her in recent weeks.
