The Rose Valley Water Treatment Plant is now delivering water to former Lakeview System users in West 91大黄鸭.
鈥淭his is a landmark day鈥e will wait until everyone is on the new water treatment plant before we celebrate, but this is truly an outstanding announcement,鈥� said Mayor Gord Milsom.
At the Oct. 24 Regular Council Meeting, the community was provided with an update that clean, safe, and reliable water from the new plant would be provided in two phases:
West 91大黄鸭 Estates and Sunnyside/Pritchard System users are expected to come online by the end of December.
The city has faced two major setbacks in its efforts to get the plant completed and operating; pandemic supply chain-labour challenges and the McDougall Creek wildfire.
