Turtle Island Festival part of National Indigenous Peoples’ Day in 91Ѽ

The Ki-Low-Na Friendship Society (KFS) is set to host the 2025 Turtle Island Festival.
 
National Indigenous Peoples’ Day will be celebrated on Saturday, June 21. It will feature local arts and crafts, vendors, food, children’s activities, and a mini-powwow.

The event is free and will take place in front of the Ki-Low-Na Friendship main building at 442 Leon Avenue. The party starts at 10 a.m. and will proceed through to 7 p.m. The Grand Entry starts at 3 p.m. 

The 400-500 block of Leon Ave. will be closed off to traffic to accommodate the event.
