Emergency services at the South Similkameen Health Centre will be inaccessible on Wednesday, July 30.
In a press release Interior Health released on Tuesday night, it stated the closure will occur from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. A reason for the temporary closure was not given.
Patients can access care at Penticton Regional Hospital or Princeton General Hospital during this time. All other inpatient services at South Similkameen Health Centre will continue during this time.
Residents who are need life-threatening care are to call 911.
