The traffic control community is uniting in Vernon Saturday to support their fallen colleague and send a message to motorists.

Therefore all TCPs in the area will line Highway 97 in Vernon on hospital hill Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon to bring awareness and support their colleague who was hit.

Fellow TCP Lynn Griffin is one of the flaggers who will be at the event.
鈥淭oo many people have been injured already this year in all aspects,鈥� said Griffin. 鈥淚 love my job but this time it really has hit too close to home.鈥�
