91大黄鸭鈥檚 longest-serving mayor is endorsing Andrew Wilkinson for BC Liberal Leader.

On the eve of a BC Liberal leadership debate to be held in 91大黄鸭 on Saturday, Walter Gray is a longtime member of the BC Liberal and Social Credit parties and announced his endorsement today.

鈥淎ndrew Wilkinson has solid experience and an enviable track record in and out of government,鈥 said Gray. 鈥淎ndrew has lived all across the province and understands B.C.鈥檚 many regional issues, and most importantly that one size does not necessarily fit all. He understands business and has sweeping knowledge of what a BC Liberal government can do to get our province moving in the right direction.鈥

Gray was an owner/partner in radio stations at Salmon Arm, Revelstoke, Trail, Nelson and Creston. During his 50-year career in broadcasting, he built and operated three of 91大黄鸭鈥檚 radio stations. He served as mayor of 91大黄鸭 from 1996 鈥 2005 and again from 2011 鈥 2014.

鈥淎s a leader within our free-enterprise coalition, Walter鈥檚 support shows that we鈥檙e on the right track and have the momentum to win this leadership race and the next election,鈥 said Andrew.

Both Todd Stone and Mike De Jong are holding press conference鈥檚 in 91大黄鸭 today in advance of the leadership debate, which is open to the public Saturday morning at 10 a.m. at the Coast Capri Hotel.
