Guns stolen amid 91´ó»ÆÑ¼â€™s unsolved crimes

Stolen guns and a thief caught on camera highlight this week’s unsolved crimes released by Crimestoppers.

A man contacted 91´ó»ÆÑ¼ RCMP on Dec. 3 when he discovered that his vehicle had been entered overnight while parked in secure underground parking on the 900 block of Academy Way in 91´ó»ÆÑ¼.

Police say a suspect entered the Q5 Audi and stole a GoPro HERO5 black edition with serial number C3161326347831, a Bluetooth adapter and a garage opener.

The information was released by Crimestoppers in its weekly listing of unsolved crimes in the area.

Another crime saw several guns stolen in a break and enter occurring between 10 p.m. on Nov. 30 and 11 a.m. on Dec. 1 in the 500 block of Curlew Drive in the Mission area of 91´ó»ÆÑ¼.

The owner returned home to find the front door unlocked and the home ransacked. The suspects left with a wallet containing identification and bank cards, spare keys to a truck and jeep and a cabinet style gun case. The case contained cash, ammunition, paperwork and the following firearms:

Dominion Arms 1911 style .45 calibre pistol (s/n BC06543)

Girsan Berreta style 9 mm pistol (s/n T636815B00074)

Dominion Arms AR15 style rifle (s/n 00587213)

Remington .22 calibre bolt action rifle with composite stock (s/n u/k)

12 Gauge Remington pump action shotgun with wooden stock (s/n u/k)
