There were several power outages in the 91´ó»ÆÑ¼ area after yesterday’s wind storm that knocked over trees in different areas of 91´ó»ÆÑ¼.
Emergency crews have been called out this morning to survey the damage of a house that had a tree fall on it yesterday afternoon due to the high winds.
According to Fortis, power outages were fixed last night.
Power has been restored to most of our customers in outage. We recognize the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we work to restore power to customers in Joe Rich. Updates:

High winds that ripped through the 91´ó»ÆÑ¼ area this afternoon caused problems in areas of the city.
Emergency crews responded to Mills Road just off Highway 33 in the 91´ó»ÆÑ¼ area for a tree downed on a power line.
There are also reports of various power outages in the 91´ó»ÆÑ¼ area. There are 177 Fortis BC customers affected in the Dehart road area of 91´ó»ÆÑ¼.
The weather forecast had called for this evening with a low pressure system.
