A spot-sized wildfire has been discovered near Falkland.
BC Wildfire Service reports the blaze was discovered Thursday, June 19 around 1:20 p.m.
The fire is an estimated .009 hectares in size in the Estekwalan Mountain area.
The suspected cause is lightning.
It is now classified as held.
A small wildfire was also reported near Gardom Lake, in the Mount Ida region Wednesday evening. It has since been removed from the BC Wildfire Service's mapping system.
