The Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen (RDOS) is showing its appreciation for local community members.
With Pride Month just around the corner, RDOS is acknowledging the work done by South Okanagan Similkameen Pride to support the local 2SLGBTQIA+ community. June is internationally recognized as Pride Month.
鈥淭he Regional District is committed to promoting an inclusive and welcoming environment at all RDOS facilities, parks and trails,鈥� RDOS chair Mark Pendergraft said. 鈥淧ride Month is a reminder that these are safe spaces for all to use and enjoy.鈥�
South Okanagan Similkameen Pride is encouraging the community to celebrate Pride Month by making a donation to or volunteering with local 2SLGBTQIA+ organizations and groups.
