UPDATE Nov. 24 9 a.m.
Road conditions may have played a role in a rollover collision which sent a man and woman to hospital with relatively minor injuries Thursday evening in 91大黄鸭.
RCMP were called on Nov. 23 at 7:14 p.m.,to assist BC Ambulance Service who were responding to a report of a single vehicle rollover collision in the 13000 block of Highway 33 East just outside of 91大黄鸭.
鈥淧olice have learned that the black Dodge Dakota pickup truck rolled over after its driver lost control of the vehicle, which sustained severe damage after it struck a highway speed sign and a tree before landing back on its wheels,鈥 said Cpl. Jesse O鈥橠onaghey, in a press release.
RELATED:
Both occupants of the vehicle were able to extract themselves from the vehicle having each sustained relatively minor injuries. Both were transported to hospital as a precaution for a full medical assessment.
鈥淧olice ruled out alcohol as a factor in the crash,鈥 said O鈥橠onaghey. 鈥淚nvestigators believe that a dramatic drop in temperature, combined with wet roads, possibly led to black ice and poor road conditions.鈥
Witnesses to the crash who have not spoken to police you are asked to call the 91大黄鸭 RCMP at 250-762-3300.
