Mission Hill Family Estate Winery in West 91大黄鸭 has announced it is partnering with the BC Children鈥檚 Hospital Foundation to host 91大黄鸭鈥檚 Festival of Trees celebration.
The winery says the holiday event will unite local businesses with the community for an important cause鈥攖o raise much-needed funds for BC Children鈥檚 Hospital.
The event will run from Nov. 24 to Jan. 5 at the winery.
This season, the winery will be transformed into an what organizers says will be an enchanted forest of brilliantly decorated trees, highlighting the wonderful fragrances and magnificent colours of the season.
The Festival of Trees has become a holiday fundraising tradition in several communities across British Columbia over the years.
鈥淏C Children鈥檚 Hospital provides world-class care for children in our community and families across this province,鈥 said Anthony von Mandl, proprietor of Mission Hill Family Estate.
鈥淲e are delighted to host 91大黄鸭鈥檚 Festival of Trees celebration to support the urgent needs of the hospital. I believe the Festival of Trees is destined to become a meaningful holiday tradition at Mission Hill for years to come.鈥
The public is invited to visit the winery to view the holiday display and make a donation to vote for their favourite trees. All funds raised will go directly to the BC Children鈥檚 Hospital Foundation.
The tree lighting ceremony will take place on Friday, Nov. 24 at 6:00 pm.
