On Oct. 29 one Vernon woman found out.
Bailey McDonald is still reeling after seeing a 鈥渄isturbing鈥 note her mother, Medea Gunnip, found on the windshield of her car while it was parked in an accessible parking spot outside the Walmart Vernon Supercentre.
鈥淵our not disabled!鈥 the note read. 鈥淵our just an obese lazy cow abusing handicap parking, because your to lazy to walk, thats why your fat.鈥
2. Allan Schoenborn, who was found not criminally responsible for the killings of his three children, has been granted escorted leaves into the community while in custody at Colony Farm Forensic Psychiatric Hospital.
The decision of the three-member B.C. Review Board to allow escorted outings was released Friday, following a lengthy and 鈥 at times delayed 鈥 review, as part of Schoenborn鈥檚 rights while at the hospital in Coquitlam.
REMINDER: Schoenborn was approved for escorted day trips in 2011, which was then reversed. Then again in 2015 鈥 but psychiatrist Dr. Marcel Hediger said back in May he had yet to approve a trip due to Schoenborn's inability to cope with his emotions

3. Vancouver magician/comedian at the Lake Country Creekside Theatre next week.

4. A U.S. man is now in jail after he had an outstanding felony warrant from Washington State.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection issued a news release Friday afternoon titled 鈥淣o shirt, no service, no Canada,鈥 saying the Tacoma man arrived northbound at the Peace Arch () crossing in South Surrey, shirtless, and told officers he was heading to Toronto to visit friends.
