91大黄鸭's Justin Evans is looking to get into finals of North America's Top Snowmobiler competition.


Justin Evans is vying to become North America's Top Snowmobiler.

If that happens, the 91大黄鸭 man will be quick to share the honour with his grandmother.

"In Hudson Hope, my grandmother taught me how to snowmobile, and that's where it all started for me," said Evans, an avid sledder throughout the Interior of B.C. "She's an inspiration to me and a big reason for my love for the sport, and I am where I am today."

Evans is in the process of completing the semifinal round of the North America鈥檚 Top Snowmobiler, an online competition produced by SnowTrax magazine and Ski Doo.

Evans was selected among thousands of applicants from across the continent to try and make their case鈥攖hrough a bio, videos and photos鈥攁s North America鈥檚 Top Snowmobiler.

Winners are determined by the most votes which can be .

The seminal round wraps up tomorrow morning at 9 a.m., with the winner to meet the U.S. champion in the final, Jan. 27 to Feb. 9.

The grand prize winner receives a snowmobile from Ski-Doo, including a trip to the company's factory in Valcourt, Que.

The champ will also be featured on an episode of SnowTrax and in SuperTrax Magazine.

"I'd really like to bring the title to B.C. and 91大黄鸭," said Evans, a father of two. "Family, friends, and people I don't know have all been spreading the word to try make it happen."
