The Salvation Army Central Okanagan's newest campaign has reached 40 per cent of its $100,000 goal.

The Hope 4 Kids campaign is raising funds for programs offering support for mental, emotional, and physical wellness in children and teens.

鈥淣o child should be left behind simply because their family can鈥檛 afford activities that build confidence and life skills,鈥 said Lenetta Parry, the organization's community engagement and resource manager.  鈥淗ope 4 Kids is about closing that gap, building resilience, and giving every child the chance to thrive."

The funds will go directly to covering costs for organized sports, counselling, tutoring, art classes and more for families with low income.

Donations can still be made online at .
