The Ki-Low-Na Friendship Society is inviting the community to march on May 5 to remember all missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls, and two-spirit people.

Starting at the Friendship Society at 10:30 a.m., attendees of Red Dress Day will walk to the 91大黄鸭 Courthouse and back to Leon Avenue to honour both victims and survivors.

Red Dress Day was inspired by M茅tis artist Jaime Black and her REDress Project installation, in which she hung red dresses to represent the missing and murdered women.

Participants are encouraged to wear red to the event. Lunch will be served following the walk with an open mic for anyone who wishes to share.
