A silent vigil was held in Vancouver on July 31, honouring five women, including Bailey McCourt, who were murdered by men in recent weeks in B.C.
Participants held a sign for each woman killed.
The 32-year-old McCourt, who was a mother to two daughters, was killed on July 4 in 91大黄鸭. She and another woman were attacked by a man with a weapon in the parking lot of Mill Creek Crossing.
McCourt died of her injuries in hospital, while the second woman suffered serious injuries.
James Plover, McCourt鈥檚 ex-husband, has been charged with second-degree murder.
Four other women, ranging in age from 40 to 80 years old, were also honoured.
