Bobcat sightings are on the rise, if social media postings are an indication.
91大黄鸭 resident Jeff Ingram had just seen a story about a bobcat and thought it would be 鈥渃ool to wake up to鈥� his own surveillance system catching an image of a big cat.

鈥淲e generally capture deer, raccoons, and the neighbourhood cats strolling through our front yard on the security camera a few times a week,鈥� he said, adding 鈥渟ure enough it came by at 3:45 a.m.鈥�

Given the returns on that passing thought, he decided to throw another idea into the universe.
鈥淵ou know what else would be cool,鈥� he said. 鈥淲inning the lottery鈥� just putting it out there.鈥�
During the last rash of bobcat sightings, a biologist at UBC Okanagan said the cats tend to come down from the mountains because of all the snow.
鈥淏obcats love small pets and are pushed into town this time of year because of the deep snow higher up,鈥� TJ Gooliaff said.
鈥淚 would just recommend keeping your pets indoors while he is hanging around.鈥�
