A wildfire that sparked northwest of Princeton on Saturday is now being held, according to BC Wildfire Service.
Lightning is the suspected cause of the Myren Creek wildfire, which is 0.1 hectares in size and located between Merritt and Princeton and west of Highway 5A.

BC Wildfire Service (BCWS) says a new blaze has sparked northwest of Princeton.
The Myren Creek wildfire was discovered on Saturday, July 5. It is currently 0.1 hectares in size and categorized as "out of control."
BCWS says lightning is the suspected cause of the wildfire, which is located between Merritt and Princeton and west of Highway 5A.
It is currently not impacting traffic on the highway.
There are also no area restrictions near the blaze, as of 6:30 p.m., according to the provincial wildfire service.
