The 91大黄鸭 RCMP is continuing their investigation into a morning hit and run collision which injured a youth and damaged her bicycle.
鈥淲e would like to extend our appreciation to the additional witnesses who have since come forward with new information,鈥 Cpl. Jesse O鈥橠onaghey said. 鈥淲e are now told that the suspect vehicle involved is believed to be an off white or cream coloured Kia Soul with British Columbia licence plates attached.鈥
RCMP are now asking those members of the general public who know of someone who owns such a distinguished vehicle to report anything suspicious to police.
鈥淭he hit and run suspect vehicle could have fresh markings or slight to moderate damage to its right front passenger side,鈥 Cpl. O鈥橠onaghey said.

91大黄鸭 RCMP are investigating a hit and run that involved a young cyclist after being hit by a car.
The hit and run took place at approximately 8 a.m. at the intersection of Gordon Drive and Springfield Road in 91大黄鸭. RCMP have learned that the cyclist had dismounted her bike and stepped off the the sidewalk to walk across Springfield Road when a vehicle struck her bike as it turned right from Gordon Drive.
The force of the impact damaged the youth鈥檚 bicycle, beyond repair and caused her to fall to the ground.

鈥淭he young girl, who was shaken from the incident, also sustained some injuries as a result of her fall,鈥 Cpl. Jesse O鈥橠onaghey said in a press release. 鈥淲e are told that the driver of the vehicle involved, pulled around the injured child, stopped momentarily without exiting their vehicle and drove away seconds later.鈥
91大黄鸭 RCMP are asking for anyone with information, or witnesses to come forward. 鈥淏ystanders, who were understandably focussed on rushing to the aid of the youth, were unfortunately unable to obtain a licence plate for the now suspect vehicle,鈥 said O鈥橠onaghey.

The unknown vehicle involved in the incident has been described to police as a white 4-door sedan, possibly with a female driver. The vehicle could have markings or damage to its right front passenger side.
