Police responded to a home after a receiving an abandoned 911 call prompted by a cat.
At 3:15 p.m. on July 8, Salmon Arm RCMP received the call from a residence on 11th Avenue NE. The caller reported someone was breaking into her house, but then said "oh it was my cat" and hung up.
"Police attended and confirmed there was no cat burglar," said Salmon Arm RCMP media liaison Const. Andrew Hodges.
