Police are on the hunt for a stolen vehicle that is connected to recent criminal activity in the area.
The Vernon North Okanagan RCMP issued a media release Tuesday morning seeking help with an ongoing investigation. Police say sometime during the early morning hours of Wednesday, June 5, a blue Subaru Outback was stolen from a home on 33rd Street. Police released photos of the vehicle, which they say is connected to some recent criminal activity in the Vernon area and has not yet been located.
"We鈥檙e asking the public to keep an eye out for the vehicle in the pictures," said Const. Chris Terleski, RCMP media relations officer. "It may still be driving around but there鈥檚 a very good chance it has been parked or left abandoned somewhere."
