A man arrested in connection with a case of indecent exposure in 91大黄鸭 has been ruled out as a suspect in a similar incident in Vernon.

A 59-year-old supsect was taken into custody in 91大黄鸭 Thursday, May 25 after he allegedly exposed himself to others inside a business located on Rutland Road. The suspect left the store and departed the area in a Dodge Ram truck.

The man was arrested on Rutland Road and charged with indecent exposure.

The day before, Vernon-North Okanagan RCMP received a report of an indecent act which had occurred May 23, on the Okanagan Rail Trail off Kickwillie Loop Road.

A woman told police an unknown man in a wooded area near the one kilometre mark of the trail was observed masturbating. He continued to masturbate and began walking toward the complainant and acknowledged her verbally.

The man was described as Caucasian, approximately 45-to-50 years old, five-foot-10 and was wearing dark shorts.

鈥淥ur investigators have ruled the 91大黄鸭 man out as a suspect in the Vernon rail trail incident,鈥� said 91大黄鸭 RCMP Cpl. Jesse O鈥橠onaghey. 鈥淭he public is still encouraged to come forward to the Vernon-North Okanagan RCMP with any tip information.鈥�

The RCMP are asking the public to remain cautiously vigilant when using this area.
