Leon Draisaitl scored at 11:18 of overtime, lifting the visiting Edmonton Oilers to a 5-4 win over the Florida Panthers in Game 4 of the NHL’s Stanley Cup Final Thursday in Sunrise, Fla. The series is now tied at two games apiece.

Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, Darnell Nurse, Vasily Podkolzin and Jake Walman also scored for Edmonton, with Draisaitl and Mattias Ekholm adding two helpers. Matthew Tkachuk (2), Anton Lundell and Sam Reinhart scored for the Panthers. Calvin Pickard replaced Stuart Skinner after the first period and stopped 22 shots to get the win in goal. Skinner was pulled after giving up three goals on 17 shots. Sergei Bobrovsky made 30 saves for Florida.

Game 5 goes Saturday (5 p.m. PST) in Edmonton.

Tkachuk opened the scoring at 11:40 of the first period, just six seconds after Nurse took a penalty to give the Panthers a two-man advantage. Aleksander Barkov won a faceoff back to Tkachuk who beat Skinner for his sixth goal of the playoffs.

Tkachuk scored again at 16:56, also on the power play, knocking in a rebound from the side of the crease.

Lundell made it 3-0 at 19:18, converting a feed from Carter Verhaeghe.

Florida held a 17-7 shots on goal margin after 20 minutes.

The Oilers flipped the script in the second period, scoring three unanswered goals of their own.

Nugent-Hopkins pulled Edmonton within 3-1 at 3:33 with his sixth of the post-season, taking a power-play feed from Leon Draisaitl and beating Bobrovsky with a shot from the deep slot.

Nurse made it 3-2 at 12:47, with his high shot from the left faceoff circle going in over Bobrovsky, who was down very early on the play. Nurse has three goals so far in the playoffs.

Podkolzin evened things up at 15:05 with his second of the playoffs, backhanded a loose puck past Bobrovsky.

Walman put the Oilers up 4-3 at 13:36 of the third, taking a pass from Kasperi Kapanen and ripping a slapshot from the right circle past Bobrovsky. Walman now has two goals during this playoff run.

Reinhart tied things at 4-4 with 20 seconds left in the third, picking up a loose puck to Pickard’s right and firing home his sixth of the playoffs.

Draisaitl tallied his fourth OT goal of the 2025 playoffs, with his one-handed effort deflecting off a defender and past Bobrovsky. Draisaitl has 11 goals this post-season.

NOTES: Pop star Taylor Swift and her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, were in attendance… Stuart Skinner had been dominant in Game 4s during the playoffs, coming into the match with a 6-0 record and a 0.83 goals-against average, .970 save percentage and two shutouts in his past six Game 4s... Forward Jeff Skinner made his Cup Final debut for the Oilers, replacing Viktor Arvidsson. Oiler’s d-man Troy Stecher also made his Cup Final debut, replacing John Klingberg… Draisaitl became the first European-born player to record three postseasons with 30 or more points, two of which have come in consecutive fashion (2022, 2024 and 2025).
