It's a small delegation of eight, but part of a much larger group.
Team BC has announced the full list of participants set to represent British Columbia at the St. John鈥檚 2025 Canada Summer Games beginning Friday, Aug. 8, and running until Aug. 25, in St. John's Newfoundland and Labrador.
Five athletes, two coaches, and an assistant/helper will represent the North Okanagan.
鈥淎fter months of preparation, we are so excited that Team BC is on its way to St. John鈥檚,鈥 said Eron Main, Chef de Mission for Team BC at the upcoming games. 鈥淭his is an exceptional group of athletes, coaches, and volunteers. We are looking forward to showing the very best of BC during this summer鈥檚 Canada Games.鈥
Team BC, which features 394 of British Columbia鈥檚 best athletes hailing from more than 50 communities, will compete across 19 sports during the 18-day event. In total, over 500 athletes, coaches, support staff, and Mission staff will represent Team BC in St. John鈥檚.

鈥 Chloe Collins, Vernon, women's basketball, athlete;
鈥 Brea Duncan, Spallumcheen, women's swimming (Para), athlete;
鈥 Jocelyn Duncan, Spallumcheen, women's swimming, participant assistant;
鈥 Michelle Webster, Vernon, women's softball, coach;
鈥 Kacey Miller, Vernon, men's softball, athlete;
鈥 Nolan Wilson, Vernon, men's softball, athlete;
鈥 Christoper Wilson, Vernon, men's softball, apprentice coach.
Newfoundland and Labrador last welcomed the Canada Games in 1999, when Corner Brook hosted the Canada Winter Games, while St. John鈥檚 will serve as host for the first time since hosting the 1977 Canada Summer Games.
