Make it back-to-back B.C. titles for Penticton's 15U AAA Tigers.
The minor baseball team won its second consecutive BC Minor Baseball provincial championship in Chilliwack on July 27.
Penticton's 15U AAA club will now head into the annual Qualifier Tournament, also in Chilliwack, where the event's first-place finisher will earn a spot at the Ray Carter Cup (nationals) in Summerside, P.E.I. The second-place team will move on to the Western Canadian Championships in Saskatoon, Sask.
The Tigers, a member of the South Okanagan Minor Baseball Association, begin the qualifiers on Saturday (Aug. 2) with a showdown against the UBC Thunder.
The event's championship game is set for Aug. 3.
